
The Global Impact Business Community (GIBC), in collaboration with Trade Lenda, has opened applications for a ₦15 billion empowerment fund aimed at supporting 10,000 small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) across Nigeria. Each qualified entrepreneur will receive ₦1.5 million in funding to grow or expand their business.

Step 1: Confirm Your Eligibility
To qualify for the ₦1.5 million SME grant, you must:
- Own or manage a small or medium-sized business in Nigeria.
- Be operating in sectors such as agriculture, retail, services, manufacturing, or technology.
- Have a clear business idea or an existing business that needs funding for growth.
Step 2: Prepare Your Business Details
Before starting your application, ensure you have:
- Your business name and brief description.
- Contact details (email, phone number).
- Business registration information (if available).
- A short explanation of how the ₦1.5 million will help your business grow.

Applications are processed through the Trade Lenda website or mobile app.
- Visit the official Trade Lenda application link or download the app from Google Play Store.
- Sign up with your valid email and verify your account.
- Fill in your business details carefully.
- Submit your application before the deadline — November 7, 2025.
Step 4: Watch for Confirmation and Updates
After submission, applicants will receive an acknowledgment email. Shortlisted candidates will later be contacted for verification and mentorship onboarding through the GIBC–Trade Lenda platform.
