The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given an important update regarding the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
In a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday morning, JAMB said that the results would be released as soon as all necessary post-examination processes are completed.
“2025 UTME results to be released as soon as all post examination analyses and other procedures are completed. Candidates are enjoined to be patient please,” the statement read.
Why the Delay?
JAMB explained that the delay is part of its routine procedure to ensure that the final results are accurate and credible. These procedures include:
- Verifying candidates’ identities
- Checking biometric data
- Investigating cases of malpractice
- Running integrity checks across all exam centres
These steps are essential in maintaining the credibility of the examination and preventing irregularities.

Candidates who participated in the 2025 UTME are advised to:
