The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has announced that it will not release the results of candidates who engaged in examination malpractices during the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This decision was made public through JAMB’s social media handle in response to a query from a concerned candidate.
According to JAMB, candidates whose results are withheld due to examination infractions will not have their results released. However, those whose results are under investigation may have their results released after the conclusion of the investigation, provided they are found not guilty of any wrongdoing.
This announcement comes after JAMB released the results of the 2024 UTME on April 29. The examination body’s stance on examination malpractices is clear, and candidates are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of the examination.
