President Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari has given the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, two weeks to reach an agreement with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) over their five-month strike.
In a speech released by Twitter activist Mohammed Jammal, he stated that President Muhammadu Buhari has given the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, two weeks to mediate the ASUU strike which has been going on since February.

White Nigerian added that if Nigerians will remember that he feels that this end of July, ASUU will call off their strike which has forced students to stay at home.
Mohammed Jammal stated this on his Twitter page shortly after President Buhari ordered the Minister of Education to try to negotiate with the ASUU Union to call off their 100-day strike.
According to him; “President Buhari has given the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, two weeks to proffer a solution to the prolonged ASUU Strike. If you remember I had a feeling that this July ASUU will end their strike. Good vibes and Inshallah 🙏”
However, some people think that this is not the way President Buhari should contact ASUU, while others think that he should ask for what they are looking for to give it to them.
As the former senator of Nigeria, Senator Shehu Sani advised President Buhari, he stated that he should contact the Minister of Finance to contact ASUU to meet their demands.

Nigerians have been criticizing President Buhari’s Government for seeing how it has been going on for a hundred days without reaching an agreement with ASUU.
Some people think that the Buhari government is claiming that there is no money to pay ASUU but the government thieves are planning to steal public money from their offices.
A few months ago, the EFCC arrested the Accountant General of the Federation, Idris Ahmed, on charges that he had stolen 82 billion nairas from government funds in his office in just 7 years.
Later on, the EFCC found another scam where he stole some unknown billions.
Nigerians have asked President Buhari to recover the money so that ASUU can meet their demands.
A few days ago, the Accountant General himself told the ASUU that there is no money that the government will give them to solve their problems.
The Federal Government has already suspended Idris Ahmed as the Accountant General and appointed a Director in the Ministry as an interim.
If Nigerians will remember the previous years, the government of former President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan went on strike months before the 2015 election.
At that time, General Muhammadu Buhari accused the Government of Goodluck Jonathan and that any serious government must contact ASUU to reconcile with them.
However, everything he accuses the government of doing in the past years is what his government is doing now.
