In a significant development, the Federal Government has announced the renaming of the renowned N-Power program to the “Renewed Hope Job Creation Programme (RHJCP).” This transformation comes alongside the promising news that the government will commence the payment of a nine-month backlog to N-Power beneficiaries in November. The National Programme Manager of N-Power, Akindele Egbuwalo, unveiled these changes on Monday.
This news brings renewed hope to the thousands of N-Power beneficiaries who have been awaiting their allowances. The payment will be made in installments, offering much-needed financial relief to those who have contributed to the program’s success.
According to Egbuwalo, the funds for these payments have been successfully recovered from the existing payment service providers, ensuring that beneficiaries receive the financial support they deserve. This long-awaited announcement was shared during a meeting between Egbuwalo and some N-Power beneficiaries.
This transformation not only signifies the government’s commitment to empowering Nigerian youth but also marks a significant step towards providing opportunities for job creation and financial stability.
