Kebbi State Governor Launches Construction of 75 Housing Units

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, inaugurated the construction of 75 housing units comprising semi-detached two-bedroom flats in Bagudo Local Government Area on Monday. The project falls under the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission Resettlement Housing Scheme.

During the commencement ceremony held at Ganten Fadama in Bagudo Local Government, Governor Idris expressed his satisfaction with the initiative. He pledged his full support to HYPADEC in achieving its goals and objectives. The governor also affirmed his government’s willingness to assist local contractors dedicated to contributing to the state’s development.

Governor Idris encouraged political appointees to give back to their communities by undertaking projects that directly impact the lives of the people. He praised the Managing Director of HYPPADEC, describing him as a responsible individual who consistently prioritizes the welfare of his people.

In response, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq-Yelwa, the Managing Director of HYPPADEC, commended Governor Idris for alleviating the challenges faced by the people of Kebbi and promoting unity among them.
