In a move aimed at enhancing local governance and acknowledging the contributions of elected officials, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has given the green light for the disbursement of a substantial N675 million furniture allowance. This allocation is destined for the 21 local government council chairmen who were elected to serve their communities.

The announcement, conveyed through a statement by Chief Press Secretary Alhaji Ahmed Idris, signifies a significant investment in the development of local infrastructure and administration.
