
The Kebbi State Government has commenced a teacher recruitment exercise to enhance the quality of education across the state. The Commissioner for Education, Halima Muhammed-Bande, confirmed this during the distribution of appointment letters to successful candidates in Birnin Kebbi.
Addressing concerns about misinformation, Muhammed-Bande clarified that the recruitment process is ongoing and being conducted in phases. She explained that the current selection focused on candidates with qualifications such as BSc.Ed, B.A Ed, BSc/NCE, BSc/PGDE, or HND/PGDE in subjects required in schools. She assured that more qualified teachers would be engaged in subsequent phases.
