The wife of Kebbi State Governor, Nafisa Idris, has pledged N50 million to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and women entrepreneurs in the state. The announcement was made during the 6th edition of the Kebbi Business Expo Week held in Birnin Kebbi.

The event, a vibrant showcase of local craftsmanship, featured a wide array of products by women entrepreneurs, including traditional delicacies, handmade items, and other creative works, highlighting the ingenuity and resilience of Kebbi women.

Speaking at the event, Nafisa Idris emphasized that the initiative aligns with the Kauran Gwandu-led administration’s focus on empowering women to enhance their socio-economic contributions. She described the donation as critical in uplifting small businesses and improving the livelihoods of women and their families, particularly during challenging economic times.
