Kwankwaso Confident He Will Win 2027 Presidential Election, Urges Nigerians to Reject Bribes

Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and former 2023 presidential candidate, has expressed strong confidence in winning the 2027 presidential election. Speaking at the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat along IBB Way, Katsina, Kwankwaso stated that his party is fully prepared to take over the presidency and secure key political positions nationwide in the next general election

Kwankwaso, who was in Katsina for a condolence visit to the Yar’adua family following the passing of their matriarch, Hajiya Dada, used the opportunity to call on Nigerians to rally behind NNPP. He dismissed the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as a “dead” entity, saying his departure from the party signaled a new direction for the future of Nigeria.

The political leader emphasized the importance of resisting vote-buying tactics and called on women and youth in particular to avoid being swayed by offers of money or gifts like spaghetti in exchange for their votes.

He also urged NNPP leaders to strengthen their commitment to the party’s success, commending their efforts in renovating the state secretariat in preparation for the upcoming elections. Kwankwaso further pledged support for a young boy, Abubakar Ibrahim, who is suffering from severe acute malnutrition.

In his address, NNPP’s Katsina State Chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, highlighted the ongoing efforts to educate voters about the party’s newly unveiled logo, positioning the party for a strong showing in 2027.

Kwankwaso’s remarks underline his determination to lead NNPP to victory in the upcoming elections and redefine Nigeria’s political landscape.
