
The Lagos State House of Assembly has given the nod to 22 out of the 39 cabinet nominees presented by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The decision came after a meticulous review led by the Chief Whip of the House, Hon. Fatai Mojeed. The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, lauded the rigorous process and reminded the confirmed nominees of their duty to serve the people of the state.
The Assembly’s commitment to transparent governance was evident as the confirmation was carried out through a voice vote for each nominee. In a display of their oversight role, the Assembly also rejected 17 nominees, highlighting their dedication to upholding standards and selecting the most capable individuals for crucial roles.
