Nigerian Customs Service online recruitment test notice for Superintendent Cadre batches A, B, and C scheduled for October 2025

The Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) has officially released the online recruitment test schedule for shortlisted candidates under the Superintendent Cadre category. The examination, which marks a crucial stage in the 2025 recruitment process, is set to take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Batch Grouping and Test Date

To ensure a smooth process, applicants have been divided into three separate batches – A, B, and C. Each shortlisted candidate is required to log in with their National Identification Number (NIN) on the NCS update portal: https://updates.customs.gov.ng to confirm their specific batch, date, and time of the exam.

Important Instructions for Candidates

The NCS has emphasized that applicants must strictly adhere to their allocated batch and time slot. Any attempt to participate outside the assigned schedule will result in automatic disqualification.

Candidates have also been cautioned against using calculators, mobile devices, or other external tools during the online test. In addition, multiple log-in attempts or switching between browser windows could disrupt the process and prevent successful access to the exam.

Inspectorate and Assistant Cadre Applicants

For applicants who applied under the Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres, the NCS clarified that their test schedules will be announced at a later date. These categories should therefore avoid logging into the Superintendent portal at this stage. Instead, they are advised to wait for official communication regarding their Pre-Test and Online Examination.
