Following this, 171,956 applicants who passed the screening were invited to take the Computer Based Tests (CBT) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Subsequently, 15,447 general duty applicants who performed well in the CBT and 55,645 specialists underwent further medical screening. Finally, 10,000 applicants, comprising 9,000 general duty recruits and 1,000 specialists, were selected.
