
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch A Stream II orientation course will begin on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in all NYSC orientation camps nationwide. This batch is expected to observe a two-day online registration window, which closes on Friday, June 13, 2025, at midnight.
All qualified Nigerian graduates are required to register via the NYSC official portal to be mobilized for national service.

Prospective corps members must complete their registration on the NYSC official portal:

The registration portal opens on Wednesday, June 11, and closes on Friday, June 13, 2025. The short registration period means eligible applicants must act quickly to avoid missing the opportunity to be mobilized with this stream.
How to Register on the NYSC Portal
- Visit https://portal.nysc.org.ng
- Select the registration link for 2025 Batch A Stream II
- Choose “Fresh Registration” if registering for the first time, or “Revalidation” if previously registered but did not report to camp
- Complete all personal, academic, and contact information fields accurately
- Upload required documents including passport photograph, degree or statement of result, and school ID
- Make the necessary payment for the call-up letter if applicable
- Print the green card after successful submission and wait for your call-up letter

Orientation Camp Dates and Activities
- Orientation Course Start Date: Wednesday, June 11, 2025

All prospective corps members must report to the orientation camp specified in their call-up letters.
Mandatory Documents for Camp Registration
Prospective corps members must arrive at camp with the following original documents:
- Call-up letter (institution-issued or printed from the portal)
- Statement of result or degree certificate
- School identity card
- Medical fitness certificate from a government or military hospital, bearing the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) stamp
- Foreign-trained graduates must present their international passport and the original copies of all uploaded documents
- Polytechnic graduates must present their National Diploma (ND) certificate
- Professionals in fields such as medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and physiotherapy must provide evidence of registration with their regulatory bodies
Special Cases and Security Guidelines
Married women, pregnant, and nursing mothers posted outside the state of residence of their husbands may be allowed to report to the orientation camp in their current state. However, they must present:
- A valid marriage certificate
- Their husband’s valid means of identification
- Documentation confirming the husband’s place of residence
In light of ongoing security concerns, NYSC has strongly advised corps members to avoid night travel. Those who cannot reach their destination before nightfall are advised to stay in nearby NYSC secretariats, police stations, or military barracks.
Only transport companies operating from government-approved parks should be used.
Presentation of fake documents during registration is strictly prohibited and attracts arrest, disqualification, and prosecution.
