Rano Airline Begins Operation

Kano, Nigeria РIn a momentous event at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Rano Airline was officially inaugurated, marking a significant milestone in the Nigerian aviation industry. The airline, owned by esteemed independent oil marketer Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Ra̱o, popularly known as AA Ra̱o, has obtained the necessary licenses from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to provide scheduled passenger services, cargo transportation, and charter flight operations.

With its operational base in Abuja, Rano Airline has set its sights on expanding its services to various locations in Nigeria and beyond. Initially, the airline will be operating from eight key stations, including Abuja, Kano, Lagos, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Kaduna, Yola, and Asaba.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the Emir of Kano, Amb. Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa Autan Bawo III, Sarkin Shanun Lafian Bare-bari Alhaji Turaki Gamji, Kano State Deputy Governor Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, and several other dignitaries.
