Renewed Hope Employment Initiative 2025: NDE Opens Phase 2 Online Registration Nationwide

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE), in partnership with the Presidency, has announced the launch of Phase 2 of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI), targeting 21,000 Nigerians for free training in vocational, digital, and entrepreneurial skills.

This federal government initiative, part of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, is designed to empower unemployed and underemployed Nigerians across all 36 states and the FCT. The application portal officially opens on July 28, 2025, and will close on August 11, 2025.

According to the NDE, each state will benefit from at least 500 slots, ensuring inclusiveness and nationwide reach. The program specifically targets youth, women, people with disabilities, and members of vulnerable communities.

During the two-week training, selected applicants will receive expert-led education in key economic areas such as fashion, agriculture, tech, cosmetics, leatherwork, solar energy, phone repairs, and digital marketing.

The initiative comes after the successful completion of the Phase 1 pilot, which trained thousands of Nigerians under the supervision of the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education (OSSAP-TVEE).

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive startup kits and access to funding opportunities, enabling them to become job creators within their local communities.

Prospective applicants are advised to prepare valid documents, a functioning email address, and a phone number for registration. The application process will be hosted on the official NDE portal.

This renewed effort aligns with the administration’s focus on grassroots empowerment, job creation, and reducing unemployment, especially among vulnerable populations.

For updates and official announcements, applicants are encouraged to follow verified NDE and federal government platforms.

Registration will only be open for 15 days, and no offline applications will be accepted.
