Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has given the green light for the payment of June salaries to workers in the state, starting from Monday. The move comes as part of efforts to ensure that workers can celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival without financial constraints.
In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Bawa, it was disclosed that the payment encompasses state civil servants, local government employees, and pensioners across Sokoto State.
