- Be an indigene of Kano State
- Be under the age of 35
- Have a minimum of second-class upper division (CGPA 3.5/5.0) in a relevant discipline
- Possess five credit passes in O’Level results, including English and Mathematics
- Hold an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
