The Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has commenced the process of uploading the names of newly accepted candidates into its various undergraduate programs for the 2022/2023 academic session. This development was announced via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.
The management of UDUS has advised all prospective students who participated in the 2021/2022 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and chose the university as their first choice to log on to the JAMB CAPS portal and check their admission status. This is to ensure that they do not miss out on the opportunity to secure admission into the institution.

To check their admission status, candidates are required to follow these simple steps:
Visit the JAMB CAPS portal via https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility
Enter your JAMB profile login details (email address and password)
Click on “Check Admission Status”
Select your examination year (2021)
Input your JAMB registration number in the space provided
Click on “Check Admission Status”
If you have been offered admission, you will see a notification congratulating you on your admission, and you will be required to either accept or reject the admission offer. If you are yet to be offered admission, you will see a message that reads “Sorry, no admission has been given yet.”
It is important to note that the uploading of names on the JAMB CAPS portal is an ongoing process, and candidates are advised to keep checking their admission status until the admission process is concluded. Candidates who are offered admission are required to visit the UDUS admission portal to accept the offer and proceed with the necessary registration processes.
