The United States has announced sanctions against five senior Ugandan officials, citing allegations of corruption and human rights abuses. Among those targeted is Ugandan parliament speaker Anita Among, along with Mary Goretti Kitutu, Agnes Nandutu, and Amos Lugolobi, all accused of misappropriating public resources.
