The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy has announced a groundbreaking partnership worth N1 billion with IHS Nigeria to bolster the 3MTT Learning Community, fostering tech talent across Nigeria. This initiative aims to revolutionize Nigeria’s digital landscape and propel it towards becoming a net exporter of tech talent, in alignment with the Strategic Blueprint for national development.

Key Highlights:

Selection of 3MTT Community Managers: The appointment of Community Managers for all 36 states in Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory signifies a pivotal step in empowering Nigeria’s tech talents. These managers will provide vital guidance and support to participants as they navigate the learning platform designed by IHS Nigeria.
  2. Public-Private Collaboration: Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications, Innovations & Digital Economy, underscores the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in driving Nigeria’s digital transformation. The partnership with IHS Nigeria exemplifies this synergy.
  3. IHS Nigeria’s Commitment: IHS Nigeria commits to funding the salaries of 37 dedicated Learning Community Managers nationwide. Moreover, access to the IHS Learning Platform will enhance the 3MTT talent development efforts, fostering a robust ecosystem for digital skills acquisition.
  4. Alignment with National Agenda: Mohamad Darwish, CEO of IHS Nigeria, highlights the alignment of the 3MTT initiative with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Ministry’s Strategic Plan.
