In a breakfast meeting with media executives held in Asaba, Chief Richard Odibo expressed confidence that the census would take place soon, citing the importance of providing accurate and real-time data to President Bola Tinubu as he assumes leadership of the nation. Former President Muhammadu Buhari had previously postponed the census and housing enumeration, granting the incumbent President an opportunity to contribute to the process.
Odibo highlighted the Commission’s commitment to capturing precise information and avoiding reliance on projections.
