How to Reset Your TVET Password (Step-by-Step Guide)
- Visit the Official Password Reset Page
Go to https://www.tvet.education.gov.ng/forgot-password/ - Enter Your Username
Type in your phone number as your username.
Example:08131234567or+2348131234567(either format works). - Receive OTP via Email
You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) in your registered email address.
Make sure you have access to your email to retrieve the OTP immediately. - Enter OTP and Create a New Password
Go back to the TVET portal and input the OTP in the provided box.
Then, create a new strong password (e.g., Musa1234).
Confirm the password by typing it again in the next box and click Reset Password. - Login With New Credentials
Return to the TVET login page and log in using:- Username: Your phone number
- Password: Your new password
- Check Your Application Status
Once you log in successfully, navigate to your dashboard to see if your application status is “Pending” or “Approved.”
